Vorwärts

The Redesign of the Social Democratic Party Magazine «Vorwärts» was a brief within the scope of Holger Matthies design class we had to deal with. We were the lucky winner of the first price for the corporate identity and the cover design. «Vorwärts» means «Forward» in German. The visualization is provided by on of the red dots of the letter “Ä“ which conducts in the dynamic of going ahead. The big red square, where the dynamic finally ends, is a reference to the icon of the social democratic party. The top claim has the function to introduce the magazine’s monthly changing topic claims like: «forward» [Titel], for a better education system [claim]
