Line

Abstract

The aim was to make animation loop only using the line as the main designing object. The animation should have a length of 30 sec. Starting and ending with the same image, one horizontal white line.

Conzept

The work was done in the basic studies at the UdK – Berlin. The exercise was for all students the same. A 30 Second long animation should be done in Flash. The animation should have a white horizontal line, as the beginning and ending image. So it was possible that,

all animations could be cut together

Every animation could be looped

My animation illustrates the water circulation. Like demanded for this exercise I was using the basic element, «line». Therefore I had to find graphical metaphors for the actions (e.g. radiation, heating, evaporate) and the objects (e.g. waves, steam, clouds)
